Family-owned and operated since 1987, Jimmy’s Automotive Center has been a cornerstone of the Asheville community for 37 years this September. Starting as a modest 4-bay, 3-lift shop, we expanded to a 15-bay facility in 1999 and have proudly served our customers from the same location for the past 25 years. Our commitment to the community extends beyond auto repair; we sponsor multiple local races that benefit schools and organizations and support local school sports teams and youth leagues in Weaverville, NC. At Jimmy’s Automotive Center, we’re dedicated to providing top-notch service while giving back to the community that has supported us for decades.

MEET THE OWNER, JIMMY SEXTON

Jimmy Sexton, the owner and operator of Jimmy’s Automotive Center in Asheville, transitioned from a dealership background to start his own business with a vision to provide superior customer service and create a supportive environment for his employees. Driven by his passion for vehicles and people, Jimmy is committed to ensuring a good living for his team while delivering exceptional automotive care. Beyond his business, Jimmy enjoys flying airplanes, spending time on the lake with his boat, and cherishing moments with his family. His dedication to both his craft and his community is at the heart of Jimmy’s Automotive Center.
